Beaver Dam at Cooper Park Wetlands
Cooper Park, Tazewell County
Cooper Park Wetlands is an Illinois Registered Reserve located in East Peoria, just south of the McClugage Bridge. This beaver dam is close to the bank of lower Peoria Lake, and may be easily seen by walking along the sandy lake shore. The Illinois River flows through the middle of lower Peoria Lake.
