Biography
Among other labels, I am an individualist, a naturalist, a musician, and a reader. At mid-life, I dislike hypocrisy and hype and often contemplate humanity’s complex and sometimes uncomfortable relationship to the natural world, seeking a commonsense and consistent viewpoint. In this endeavor, rivers and river life have provided some unique insights.
